Warranty Terms

• Warranty period of the gasoline and diesel engine is six months from date of purchase.
• Warranty excludes wear and tear of the product.
• Warranty excludes worn piston & rings, bearings caused by excessive use (usage over recommended run times in respect of duty cycle).
• Warranty excludes cylinder, cylinder head and associated parts caused by excessive use (usage over recommended run times).
• The following electrical parts are excluded from the warranty: batteries, starters, regulators, ignition switches, solenoid, alternators, generators and automatic voltage regulators.
• The engine can be repaired if the warranty period has not expired and the fault is production related.
• For any warranty claim to be effective, the unit must be returned in the original packaging.
• Proof of purchase must be produced for warranty claim.
• If the equipment has been opened, tampered, changed, modified, and damaged in any way the warranty will be void.
• Units used with low or without oil and no air filter will render warranty null & void.
• All moving parts relating to the function of the Tamper Rammer is excluded from warranty due to possibility of abuse and neglect.
• Warranty period of the Tamper Rammer is three months from date of purchase.
• All tamping rammer bellows are excluded from warranty.
• Proof of services and maintenance of engines and equipment must be produced in order to submit a warranty claim.
• For lawnmower engines where the blade is connected directly onto the output shaft, please fit a plastic type boss kit and not metal connecting kit.
• The warranty will only be covered if a plastic boss kit is used on the output shaft to mount the cutting blade.
• Damage caused by improper application, improper installation, incorrect wiring, wrong operating oil and fuel will void warranty.
• Please make sure that the fuel used is clean and not contaminated with other fluids or foreign matter, as this will void warranties.
• Damage caused from repair by user or service center not authorized by our company will void all warranties.
• Engines have specified operating speeds and power output, if altered or changed in any way the warranty is void.
• Water Pumps warranted will be excluded if used to pump any chemical fluid other than water.
• Magnum Power equipment warranty is only valid if the equipment is installed by a VAT registered company.
• Customer abuse, customer negligence, user error, water damage, lightning damage invalidate the warranty.
• Magnum Power Engines, water pumps, generators, are specifically for domestic use not for Industrial use and hire companies.
• Rental of equipment during performance of warranty repairs.
• Transportation charges in connection with the repair or replacement of defective parts.
• Cosmetic defects such as paint, decals, etc.
• Failures due to acts of God and other force events beyond the manufacturer's control.
